The platform is constructed from virtually indestructible Nylon 6, lighter than alloy and free from fatigue issues. It is machined with optional mounting points for a single OS-Soft pannier or an OS-12 ADV pack with Rotopax fuel/water tanks.
This special edition OS-Platform includes a stainless steel adapter to flatten the exhaust-side profile and provide a solid mounting location for the OS-Platform.
The profile of the BMW suitcase frame on the side opposite the exhaust is flat and therefore a standard 16mm to 20mm OS-Platform tube will easily fit on this side.
